It is no secret that as business has grown
more complicated; companies have grown more sophisticated in their
approach to the management of their risk exposures. They are looking
for more value added services from their insurance brokers. They want
more than just insurance. They also need help in identifying and managing
their physical risks as well as financial risks.
To meet the challenge of this redefined marketplace, which will be
dominated by the intermediary who can bring the most value to the
table, the management of the company has been completely revamped
in 1999. New investors were brought in to further strengthen its capital
base. The name of the company was also changed in the same year to
Asia-Pacific Risk Consultants (Thailand) Limited. |
