Background of
the Alliances
The New World Insurance Group of Companies("New World Insurance")
was organized in 1988, initially to serve mainly as the in-house insurance
broker of the renowned New World Development Company Limited (New
World Development), one of the leading business conglomerates based
in Hong Kong with total consolidated funds employed of over HK$ 106
million as of June 30, 2001
Today, New World Insurance is a member of NWS HOLDINGS LIMITED, the
holding company of all services related businesses of New World Development.
New World Services embraces a diversified range of services and its
business can be broadly grouped under five main divisions, namely
facilities, contracting, transport, financial and environmental.
New World Insurance serves many clients who are leaders within their
industries, including international hotel chains, public listed companies,
power plants, water treatment plants, public transportation companies,
department stores, telecommunication and TV broadcasting companies.
Asia-Pacific Risk Consultants (Thailand) Limited is a member of PAN
ASIAN ALLIANCE. It is alliance of independent insurance broker companies
from Australia, China, Hongkong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand,
Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
The partnership serves as an international resource network. It enables
APRC to respond and provide insurance services to clients whose business
operations extend beyond Thailand. Likely, APRC can do the same for
its clients whose operation extend to Thailand. |
